Joey Davis
A home for Joey Davis, lead guitarist for Oliver Anthony and frontman of The Joey Davis Band.
The project
Most of Joey’s audience found him on stage. The site needed to feel like that room, honest and warm, and send fans straight to the music, the shows, and the ways to follow along.
The design response
The redesign pares everything back to one dark, warm room: Cormorant and Cinzel type, a single amber accent, and nothing that pulls focus from the music. A guitar made of embers burns in the hero, the strings between sections ring as you pass, and the Scornful Woman video sits in a frame of fire. Videos load only when played, so the page stays light.
