A booking site for Simon Winthrop, the Las Vegas mentalist and magician who has performed for presidents, CEOs, royals and Hollywood.
The project
Event planners arrive wanting two things: proof that Simon is the real thing, and a quick way to check a date. The site had to feel like an evening with him, theatrical and a little mysterious, without ever slowing down the booking.
The design response
Velvet, brass and Bodoni type set the room. Simon stands in a 3D hero while his playing cards circle him, and scrolling raises the curtain on a theatre stage for his three shows, ending with a trapdoor vanish. Praise, famous names, his book and a booking form that goes straight to him follow.
